(after Barry Manilow)
Her name was Lola, she was a zombie.
With mouldy feathers in her hair and one arm that wasn't there
She used to dance once, before the end came
But now she shuffles and she moans,
Her boyfriend Tony chews on bones.
Across a crowded floor, slipping around in gore
They were all running and they were screaming
No-one could find the door!
At the Copa, Copacabana
The deadest spot north of Havana
At the Copa, Copacabana
Shuffling and moaning, they’re gruesome and groaning
At the Copa….they’re all undead
(Copa Copacabana)
His name was Rico, he had a shotgun
He’d left it leant against a chair, when he saw Lola standin’ there
He saw her shambling, thought it was over
‘Cause Rico’s gun was just too far,
As Tony shuffled round the bar
The odds were one against two,
Towards his gun he flew
There was a bite and a single gun shot
But just who got who?
At the Copa, Copacabana
The deadest spot north of Havana
At the Copa, Copacabana
Shuffling and moaning, they’re gruesome and groaning
At the Copa….but who is dead?
(Copa. . Copacabana)
(Copa Copacabana) (Copacabana, ahh ahh ahh ahh)
(Ahh ahh ahh ahh Copa Copacabana)
Her name was Lola, she was a zombie.
With mouldy feathers in her hair and one arm that wasn't there
She used to dance once, but now that’s over
‘Cause now she shuffles and she moans,
Her Tony used to chew on bones.
She sits there so undead, and gnaws on Rico’s head
She lost her life then she lost her Tony
Now she's lost her leg!
At the Copa, Copacabana
The deadest spot north of Havana
At the Copa, Copacabana
Shuffling and moaning, they’re gruesome and groaning
At the Copa….they’re all undead
(Copa) they’re all undead
Copacabana
Copacabana...
etc. to end
